Publishing Help – An Informational Webinar from the Queens of Content

I had the opportunity to be part of a webinar led by “The Queens of Content,” Deb Drum & Amy Harrop. I was invited as a member of Children’s Book Insider, and was grateful for the chance to hear what they had to say. As marketers and publishers, they were a vast wealth of information.

The webinar was Easy Publishing Discovery, and covered some very simple information that many authors overlook in publishing. The main discussion was on publishing eBooks, but could also help physical book sales. By looking into other avenues besides Amazon’s Kindle and listing your book under the best keywords, you could improve your sales without a lot of effort. I won’t give out too much information, because they earn an income advising others, but I highly recommend reaching out to them for help.

They have multiple books published and you can get marketing help through their website. As an added bonus to the CBI members, they gave us a discounted rate on a publishing information package and tutorials.

I promised myself that this year I would put more effort towards marketing. With Deb and Amy’s help, I should be able to achieve that and get back to what I really want to do, write and illustrate. Thank you, Deb and Amy!
