Opossum with Babies for NY DEC

I gave a shot at another New York State Habitat & Access Stamp. This year, they chose the Opossum (Didelphis virginiana), our very own marsupial. Another illustration was chosen for the annual stamp, but they used mine for a Patron Sticker.

I enjoyed adding color to the illustration, even though opossums aren’t very colorful. The subtle hues of pink and yellow added a pleasant warmth to the digital pen and ink.
