Jólabókaflóð – Christmas Book Flood

We may have Black Friday, but Icelanders have Jólabókaflóð! It is customary for  them to exchanged books on Christmas Eve and the rest of the night is spent reading. What a wonderful way to spend the festive evening, curled up in your cozy bed, paging through a new tome.
