Happy Holidays
I look out my window and watch the squirrels bury peanuts in the grass. Buffalo has been breaking some records with the weather lately and it is difficult for me to feel festive when there is no snow. I have to think back to when I lived in Texas and a green Christmas was the norm. The weather has actually been a blessing, since we waited until the last minute to put away outdoor furniture and clean out the garage.
For now, I will revel in the season of peace and hope. I will make cookies and enjoy dinner with my family. I will prepare for the New Year and write as much as I can.
To all of those that have snow this holiday season, I hope you stay warm. For those who have been given the opportunity to have a green Christmas, don’t waste it.
