A Happy Five Years
Five years ago, I started my website to publicize my books and illustrations. Wow, it really does seem like that was yesterday. I only had two books at the time and this little otter was just a twinkle in my eye.
I look back and wonder how I got to this juncture in my life. My stories started out as therapeutic writings, to get things off my mind. My illustrations were a simple way to relieve stress. I never considered them to become anything more. I may not be a Steven King, J. K. Rowling, or Brandon Mull, but I am very happy with how my work is progressing.
I continue to formulate stories and use my family, mainly my children, as a sounding board. I otter be illustrating more, but it takes time. I have a growing list of possible otter illustrations and I am waiting on approval for an I Otter Be trademark. I have a site for my stores, started Facebook and Goodreads pages, and continue to blog along with Mrs. Otter.
I am currently revising two works, one fictional and one non-fictional. If all goes well, I may finish one by the end of the year. I will keep my readers up to date with the progress and have a few sneak peeks in the coming months. So keep checking back in for any information.
