Girl in Woods for NSTA

This was my second illustration for the National Science Teacher’s Association’s journal, Science and Children. I created the illustration to accompany the poem “Feeling The Ground” by Sarah Grace Tuttle in the “The Poetry of Science” column.

She wrote the poem about someone with autism spectrum disorder experiencing the woods, and I enjoyed creating the wild space in simple black and white.
